Executive Board Openings

Looking to shape the direction of the Emerald City Softball Association? Or add some great volunteer experience to your resume? Now is the perfect time to apply for an open ECSA appointed board position.

Marketing and Communications Director:

The Marketing and Communications Director shall:

  1. Report to the Board
  2. Send via email ECSA Newsletters to its membership:
      1. On a regular basis during the ECSA league season
      2. As required when the season is not in session.
  3. Communicate schedule changes, including game cancellations, to ECSA membership.
  4. Maintain all ECSA social media accounts. Use social media as a means of communication to the ECSA membership. Use Social media for public relations to promote and support ECSA.
  5. Publish a quarterly roadmap of communications and marketing plan and present to the board.
  6. Execute and manage communication efforts between ECSA and external organizations and consumers, including:
    1. Media coverage and advertising
    2. Content shared on ECSA website and social media accounts
    3. Promotional materials disseminated within other community forums
    4. Present to the voting members of the Executive Board by Feb. 15th each year a proposed Communication/Marketing budget for approval.
    5. Responsible for all internal board communication tools.
    6. Perform any other related duties delegated from the Board.
    The ideal candidate for this role will have 2-3 years previous experience in a marketing or content management role, and a minimum of novice experience with WordPress, content generation, public relations, and graphic design.
